North Narrabeen Junior Beach Carnival – Sun 16th Dec 2018 IMPORTANT CARNIVAL INFORMATION
Officials
All clubs are required to supply their allocation of officials for this carnival, as outlined in the officials’ appointments rosters. This is required to ensure the efficient and safe running of the event.
Any clubs failing to meet their obligation in either may render their club’s competitors ineligible to compete at the carnival, at the discretion of the Referee.
1km Run Officials Report at 6:45 AM. All other Officials (other than Sectional Referees) must report to their respective areas 30 mins prior to the commencement of marshalling for the first event in their respective area.
All Age Relay & Mixed Beach Relays
Clubs can enter multiple teams in the All Age Beach Relay, but in doing so must ensure that each competitor in the team is running in their respective age group. Composite teams are not allowed in the All Age Relay due to time constraints.
Mixed Beach Relay teams must comprise of a minimum of 2 Girls and a maximum of 2 Boys. Composite teams are allowed in the Mixed Beach Relays.
All Age Tug-of-War “Rules”
All Age Tug-of-War team composition is similar to the All Age Beach Relay with some caveats –
 Teams must comprise of one competitor from each of the age groups from U9 to U14’s
 Competitors cannot compete in the position of an older age group
i.e. U10 cannot be the U11 competitor
 As a minimum one of either the U14 or U13 competitors must be a Female
i.e. the U14 and U13 cannot both be Males
 More than one team per club is permitted with a maximum of 3 teams per club
 If a club is unable to form a team from their own members, composite teams are permitted
 Most important “rule” – Lets be sensible and have fun !!
